What's this?

If you frequently download files from Sourceforge projects, use sfdirectdl to automatically convert download links to use your favorite mirror (instead of having Sourceforge prompt you).

How does it work?

Every time you click on a link, it checks to see if it's a download link for a Sourceforge-hosted project. If so, the link location, which by default points to the mirror-selection-and-redirect page, is replaced with a link to the actual file, on your favorite mirror. You can select the mirror from the extension's options.

Quick start

Install version 0.5, or go to the installation page for the full list of revisions and changes.

If you have GreaseMonkey installed and you don't need the fancy mirror-selection-settings-dialog, check out some user scripts that accomplish the same.

The sfdirectdl project can be contacted through the mailing list or the member list.
